The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Kano State Command, has engaged the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Kano-Jigawa Branch, on fire prevention, safety measures and emergency preparedness.
The State Controller of FFS, SC Sadiq Usman Mahmud, led the command on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of MAN, Kano-Jigawa Branch, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Umar, on Wednesday.
Mahmud said the engagement was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the fire service and manufacturers to enhance fire safety and emergency preparedness across the state.
He also emphasised the importance of sensitising manufacturers on preventive measures to minimise fire incidents and protect lives and property.
